This leaflet summarizes key messages to promote exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) during the first 6 months just after birth. It provides technical and practical guidance on how to appropriately and effectively breastfeed your baby.

The primary audience are (1) pregnant mothers, (2) the mothers of children under 6 months of age, (3) male parents, (4) women in reproductive age and other key supportive community. It highlights and answers key questions on the following topics on EBF:

– What you need to know on EBF
– Appropriate position of a child during breastfeeding
– How frequent you should breastfeed your child
– Precaution to preventing the incidents and difficulties during breastfeeding
– Other useful information you need to know
