This Public Notice on Ebola was issued on 15 July 2019 by the Government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Health.
It urges Rwandan citizens to insensify their preventive measures in order to avoid the spread of Ebola given conformed case in the neighbouring town of Goma, DRC.
The notice also informs the citizens that no Ebola case has ever been reported in Rwanda, and reminds people to maintain the culture of cleanliness. In addition, it asks citizens to report any suspected case of Ebola, as well as to immediately visit a screening center after traveling in Ebola-affected areas.
