This poster, produced by Rwanda Ministry of Health, carries messages showing how to prevent transmission of the Ebola Virus.
It describes prevention steps such as:
- Always wash hands using water and soap
- Avoid unnecessary journies to Ebola outbreak zones
- In case of fever go immediatly to the nearest health facility
- Avoid touching bodily fluids of people who have a fever
- Any animal should not be touched when dead
- Don’t touch the body of an Ebola victim yourself
- The burial of an Ebola victim should be done by protected and trained people only
It also explains that a completly healed person can no longer transmit Ebola.
